Situation

DELTA Netconsult offers a comprehensive portfolio of IT services for companies in various sectors. The company launched the common data environment "Datapool", which ensures reliable data exchange and efficient communication in the processing of construction projects. The aim of the project was to identify the needs of Datapool users and new marketing opportunities as well as to conceptualize initial designs for the mobile version of the program.

Approach

In a needs analysis, six people working in the construction industry were interviewed about their experiences with Datapool and potential problem areas were identified. Building on this, icons used a competitive analysis of social media marketing and the scalability of software-as-a-service products to develop a clear communication strategy that highlights the unique selling points of the program. In a final step, the Datapool app was conceptualized.

Result

icons provided concrete recommendations for action to present Datapool more favorably and address the previously identified needs of customers. In addition, a detailed strategy for the successful launch of the Datapool app was developed. This involved designing the technological form and functionality of the app and analyzing the product launch procedure in detail.
