Situation

Generali Versicherungs AG is the third largest insurance group in Austria and employs around 4,900 people. In order to increase its sales potential, the company, headquartered in Trieste, wanted to identify new sales channels and then analyze and evaluate them.

Approach

In close cooperation with Generali's internal task forces, icons carried out a market screening in Austria based on a six-stage filter process. This made it possible to create a shortlist of potential sales opportunities. These were examined in detail on the basis of a potential analysis.

Result

The result of the market analysis was a shortlist of potential sales opportunities, which were evaluated based on their strengths according to previously defined internal criteria. By analyzing the various options, the potentials could be clearly prepared, illustrated and individual recommendations passed on to Generali Versicherungs AG.
