What we are particularly proud of
As students who want to do more than just study, our members at icons have the opportunity to realize personal and professional projects and ideas and to apply theoretical content in practice during their studies. Thanks to a great deal of motivation, passion and creativity, icons has already implemented countless projects.
Talent Elevator
In 2018, we organized the Talent Elevator, our exclusive annual career event, for the first time. We connect outstanding students with the best employers in Austria. The participating companies include the Boston Consulting Group, voestalpine and Drei.
Environmental, Social and Governance
In 2020, we established our Department for Environmental, Social and Governance, which aims to make our organization and our work environmentally and socially sustainable, from internal awareness-raising programs to ESG guidelines according to which projects are carried out.
inside icons Business Podcast
In 2021, we launched our podcast "inside icons" with the aim of inspiring students and young professionals. We discuss topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship and female empowerment with experts from leading companies such as Google, WWF and Pioneers.

Although the idea of Junior Enterprise is still relatively new in Austria, the first association of this kind at European level was founded over 50 years ago in France. The Junior Enterprise "Junior ESSEC Conseil", founded in 1967, was the impetus for a large number of other foundations of this type. There are already more than 300 similar organizations worldwide. In Austria, the idea was taken up in 1989 and has since been realized by five Junior Enterprises in the federal states. icons - consulting by students is one of the largest Junior Enterprises in Austria with three locations and around 70 students. icons is a cross-border member of the European umbrella organization and network of student consultancies, the "European Confederation of Junior Enterprises" (JE Europe).
